Christmas Caroling in the Bent Creek Community

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. (Luke 2:13-14).

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”

There are historical records from as early as 129 AD of songs written specifically for Christmas celebrations. The history and evolution of caroling as a way to celebrate Christmas is recorded here. However, you can join us on Thursday, December 18th to start our own bit of history.

We will meet at the Bent Creek Community Park at 6:30 pm to enjoy caroling in the community and return to the park for a bonfire and hot chocolate. We look forward to residents in the community joining us.

Don’t forget to bring a flashlight and warm clothes!
