Family Ministries

Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)

christian_ed_bannerBent Creek Baptist Church provides a broad range of ministries and educational programs targeted to the spiritual needs of infants, children, young people and their families.

Infants are always welcome to our 11 am Sunday morning worship service. If you’re concerned that your baby can’t sit through the entire service, use the BCBC cry room located on the mezzanine level directly in front of the lectern.

The Education Center offers a sunny, uplifting environment for our children. During Sunday School (9:30 am Sunday), the goal is to help children feel and understand Jesus’ love.

Children 3 to 5 years old and 6 to 10 years participate in an interactive curriculum, rotating through rooms for bible lessons, crafts, music, drama, and snack and playtime.

In addition to Sunday School, BCBC special ministries meet the needs of children and young adults to learn about the Lord’s teachings and his love for them.

  • Vacation Bible School: Assists in the spiritual development of children.
  • AWANA: Helps BCBC and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ.
  • Solomon’s Porch: An interactive activity that assists in the spiritual development of young adults.
  • Student Outreach: Bible study on Sunday (11 am) and devotion and fellowship each Wednesday (6:30 pm)
  • Fall Festival: A harvest party that offers a positive Halloween alternative.
  • BCBC Day Care
