But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved. (Hebrews 10:39)
It’s easy to get caught up in our daily lives and let events distract us from living for God. Maybe the strongest and most pointed passage about fellowship is in Hebrews 10 when Paul says that some have stopped meeting and are neglecting fellowship.
and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near. (Hebrews 10:24-25)
It’s a message that’s important for women of faith.
Take a night out to let go of daily distractions and focus on fellowship with God and each other at Bent Creek Baptist Church during Women’s Night Out on Tuesday, October 21 at 6 pm. We will meet at the Lake Club House.
