Joe Dillon, Interim Pastor, July 22, 2018
Part of the God's Way series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Gods Purpose our Problem

1. Barriers to blessing.
• Personality
• Wounds
• Upbringing
• Fears and anxieties
• Sin; holding onto OR being held onto (strongholds) attitudes, thought patterns and actions that violate Gods will.
• False beliefs; trusting in what our circumstances, the world, others, our own vain speculations tell us as opposed to Gods truth.

2. Making Progress. Philippians 4
Salvation is an act of God that is immediate and complete, sanctification is the life long process of our transformation to Christlikeness.
• A choice of attitude, Philippians 4:4-7
• A choice of thoughts, Philippians 4:8-9

3. The Battle is ours the Victory is from God. Romans 12:2
