Let the Church be the Church
Worship the Great Deception
Psalm 96: 1-9

1. Worship isn’t an activity of the church, its is who we are as Gods people. 1 Peter 2: 9-10

2. Worship isn’t merely;
• A date on the calendar
• A song service
• A song
• entertainment
• A style

3. Worship is both natural and a choice. Isaiah 44: 13-
20
• Material things
• Images
• Ourselves
• Whatever you value most

4. Worship alone, worship together.
• Any place any time.
• Meditation on God’s word leads worship. (think)
• Thanksgiving (attitude)
• Testimony
• Praise, verbally, in music.

5. Benefits of worship.
• The presence of God
• unity
• An anchor in a storm
• Confidence in God
• Peace of mind
