Sam Bennett is a native of North Carolina. He and his wife, Jodie, have three children – son Andrew, daughters Katie and Heather. Sam loves the outdoors and is one of the founding members of 4 Outdoorsmen Ministries, a ministry to outdoorsmen. He spent his childhood on a small family ‘farm’ in Canton, North Carolina.
Sam is a graduate of Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. After graduating college he was employed by Champion International Paper Company as an engineer and manager for 17 years. In 2001, God called Sam to bi-vocational ministry as the youth pastor of Bent Creek Baptist Church. In 2005, Sam became our Associate Pastor. Since then he has graduated from Southwest Seminary with a Master of Arts in Theology and a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling.
